Video: Rejoice with Baba Ganoush

Dear brothers and sisters,

We begin with a wonderful recipe for Baba Ganoush. We scoop out two baked eggplant and add our Alive Organic Tahini, some lemon or lime juice, a couple cloves of garlic and a pinch of Royal Himalayan Pink Crystal Salt.We blend together. The result is a delicious condiment that your family and friends will  appreciate.Use it as a salad dressing, a topping on casseroles or spread it on slices of apple or pear.

On sale  this week is our  Alive, Organic Pumpkin Seed Butter. Our pleasure to offer it at a $3 discount. It is made from pumpkin seeds grown by an Oregon farming family.

Then, Ben with GrowVeg, our favorite gardener, takes us on a tour of his vibrantly alive, organic  garden. He feeds his family with these magnificent vegetables. It's up to us to emulate him.

Then Chad Kreuzer with Health and Homestead extols  the virtues of sunchokes also known as Jerusalem Artichokes. They are among the easiest vegetables to grow.  They are so versatile: you can eat them raw, steam them or bake them. And they are delicious!

Finally, Bob and Brad, the two most popular physical therapists on the web, tell us how to stop walking hunched over. Dear seniors, please take note.

80% of the world’s almonds are grown in California’s Central Valley. It is bounded to the east by the towering Sierras and to the west by the coastal mountain range. Its rich, alluvial soil is wondrously fertile. This great plain is a sea of white in February, when the almonds blossom. The orchards are irrigated by water from melting snow high in the Sierras.
