Video: Your Tax dollars Subsidize Junk Food

Brothers and sisters,

Tens of millions of Americans in modest circumstances rely upon the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or Snap as it's called, for food.

More than 20% of the food they buy is junk food. Taxpayers are projected to spend $240 billion on junk food, with more than $60 billion going exclusively to soda, over the next decade. In other words your tax dollars are being used to subsidize ultra processed,  junk food.

But the total cost is far greater. Closely related to junk food is obesity.   42% of adults are considered obese. That’s right- over 100 million Americans are obese.
The next stop down the road after obesity is heart disease and after that cancer.

We propose turning  this situation around by engaging the people on food stamps, by giving them an opportunity to grow at least a part of the food they eat.

Please watch the video. Your comments are most welcome.

Next Ben with Growveg tells us how beans are the most productive vegetables we can grow in our gardens and  how they encapsulate the glory  and magnificence of summer.

Then Emily with Pretty Pies guides us in preparing a delightful Lemon Loaf Cake, vegan, of course!

We then invite you to take us on a video tour of your backyard garden.

Our Lake Baikal Siberian Pine Nut Butter,Alive and Organic is on sale this week. Made from alive, organic pine nuts wildcrafted in the Siberian pristine wilderness. Regularly $33.99.  Now $28.99.

We invite you to consider doing a summer internship with us. This is hands on preparation for those considering a career in the organic food industry.

Bob and Brad, the most popular physical therapists on the web, tell us how to fix lower back pain.

Nick Johnson then takes us  on a shocking tour of Oakland, California. It is sad and tragic that our fellow Americans are living in these conditions of filth and squalor.

Your comments and suggestions are most welcome.

May we wish you and family good health, prosperity and success,
