Video: The Apples and Oranges of Inflation Depression

Dear brothers and sisters,

We are aficionados of aliveness. We cherish life energy in the food we eat and we rejoice in feeling it course through our bodies during vigorous exercise. It seems to me that it is incumbent upon us to take that realization to ever greater levels of understanding especially in these times.

All of us see, every day, how the price of organic fruits and vegetables keeps going up and up. Why not seek some understanding here? The economy in which we are immersed is a living thing. It gyrates and cycles enlivened by the purposeful energy of 160,000,000 working Americans.

Starting  with apples and oranges, we go to coinage, followed by  paper money backed first by gold and then by nothing but air.
We ruminate on "quantitative easing" which is a fancy term for pumping money into the economy. Voila!, we have the housing bubble, the crypto currency bubble and stock market bubble.

We see that Federal Reserve is caught in a trap-if it continues to fight inflation by raising interest rates, the bubbles will pop and there will be a severe recession much worse than 2008. Sooner or later, the Fed will give up the inflation fight. It  will pivot away from monetary tightening, it will try to reflate the bubble economy by printing more money which will send inflation soaring.

We say, dear friends, better start your Victory Garden.  Please join a Community Garden. We will yet build here yet an edible schoolyard for the American spirit.

Please watch the video; your comments are much appreciated.

Living Tree Community Foods Organic Pumpkin Seed Butter is created in Berkeley, California from alive, raw organic pumpkin seeds grown by American family farmers. We make it by slicing raw pumpkin seeds into a luxurious spread, adding organic pumpkin seed oil and then seasoning it with a little Royal Himalayan Pink Crystal Salt. Very nourishing and energizing. A balanced source of good protein. Try it on fruit slices and on flax crackers.

In our proprietary process, we make the pumpkin seed butter slowly, over several days. We slice the seeds and never grind. This preserves the flavors and properties of the raw pumpkin seeds. We make it frequently, in small batches, so it’s fresh and alive.

Our pumpkin seeds are grown by Pete and Tom Postelwait in the wondrous fertile Willamette Valley in Oregon.
