Video: Amidst the Winter's Drear, the Almond Trees are Rejoicing!

Dear brothers and sisters,

We invite you to join us in taking a look at ourselves:-

The U.S. has recorded its highest number of drug-overdose deaths in a 12-month period, surpassing 100,000 for the first time.

This marks a nearly 29% rise from the deaths recorded in the same period a year earlier.

Furthermore 140 million Americans are obese. That is, 42.4% of the population. Another 30% are overweight. Moreover approximately 20% of American children and teens are obese.

One out of every six American adults is taking at least one type of psychiatric drug per year.

Life expectancy in America has fallen for three years in a row. This is not happening in any other industrial country.

Then there is the tragic  increase in suicides among teenagers and young people.

What number could be more indicative than the birthrate? Last year the birth rate fell to about 60 births per 1,000 women, the lowest recorded since the government started keeping records back in 1909.

In it’s 245th year, a picture emerges of an America afflicted with a chronic malaise of the soul.

But we dare not stop there.

Amidst winter’s drear we plan for a vibrant, early spring of hope and renewal.

We plant Grandpa’s Admire’s lettuce,Greenpeace Kale,America Spinach,Touchstone Golden Beets,Charbell Swiss Chard and Ivory Princess Calendula (an edible flower).

I am confident, brothers and sisters, that we will come through-stronger and more resilient. Abraham Lincoln said so. At Gettysburg, he prophesied ”this nation shall have a new birth of freedom”.

Please accept our best wishes for good health, prosperity and success to you and your family.
