Timeless Food introduced their black lentils in 1994 and caught the attention of chefs all over the world as the lentil looks like caviar, is rich in flavor and makes an impressive addition to any dish.
Lentils are rich in dietary fiber, have a significant amount of folate and magnesium, are full of complex carbohydrates and have a high amount of important minerals and antioxidants. Our Organic Black Beluga Lentils have a 24% protein content, the highest of any lentil. Black lentils cook in about 20 minutes at a simmer.
