Video: The Great Experiment: GMOs and Your Genetic Heritage

Dear brothers and sisters,

Gene editing was once a very imprecise and expensive process; scientists can now go into your DNA and essentially cut and paste it at specified places. CRISPR is a cheap, simple and efficient method of genetic modification.

Already it is being used in the food industry. Foods produced via gene-editing are not subject to regulation by the USDA or other regulatory agencies.

But CRISPR leads to hundreds of unexpected mutations. According to Dr Mercola, “The reality is that scientists really don't know what they're doing in terms of what side effects are produced by DNA tampering. The effects are very unpredictable. The intended change may have unintended effects. Thus long-term safety and toxicity studies are a necessity.  Who is going to conduct and pay for these studies? There is no regulation. It’s a free-for-all”.

Jeffrey Smith with the Institute for Responsible Technology has said, "the most common and consistent result from genetic engineering, from the beginning, has been surprise effects”.

The prospect is very real  that the natural world, as we know it, may be changed.

A great experiment is being conducted on foundations of existence and this without proper safeguards and control.

May we wish good health prosperity and success to you and your family.

I received my order today. I have to tell you that for the first time ever, I was able to place my own order. In the past, my daughter in law would have to do it for me because I'm visually impaired. She notified me last week that Living Tree has a new web site and that I should see if it was finally accessible to people like me. The verdict is that it's one of the easiest I've used. Thank you so much for caring about us glorious elders... Diana

Dumping Fukushima’s Water into the Ocean by DGR News Service

Remote image

For nearly a decade the crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant has been streaming radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean. As it happens, TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Co.) struggles to control it. Yet, the bulk of the radioactive water is stored in more than 1,000 water tanks.

Assuredly, Japan’s government has made an informal decision to dump Fukushima Daiichi’s radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean. A formal announcement could come as early as this year. Currently, 1.2 million tonnes of radioactive water is stored.

The problem: TEPCO is running out of storage space.

Government of Japan’s solution: Dump it into the Pacific Ocean.

Third-party expert solutions: Build more storage tanks.

Environmental groups insist there is no reason why additional storage tanks cannot be constructed outside the perimeter of the plant. They accuse the government of seeking the cheapest and quickest solution to the problem. All along, authorities have promised the site will be safe in 40 years. Really, only 40 years!

According to IAEA’s Director General Grossi, who visited Fukushima in February 2020, dumping radioactive water that is mainly contaminated with tritium meets global standards of practice.
