Video: Mango Avocado Cheesecake - No Bake & Organic

Dear brothers and sisters,

Our pleasure to bring you this midsummer edition of our newsletter.

We begin with a recipe for Mango,Avocado Cheesecake. We first make an almond milk base using our Alive, organic almond butter and blend in mango, avocado and our organic cashew butter. We  solidify it by freezing- the result is a “cheesecake” with a depth of the flavor.

Next, James Prigioni, our favorite gardener in New Jersey, advises  what to plant in July. His suggestions include  cucumbers that take only 60 days  from seeding to harvest,  lettuce varieties that are slow to bolt, Swiss Chard, and of course brassicas-  kale, cabbage and cauliflower.

Our special this week is Lake Baikal Siberian Pine nuts wildcrafted in the reverberating wilderness. We’re taking $5 off the list price.

Our Victory Garden Sale includes Almond, Cashew,Brazil Nut  Innovation Butter, Turmeric and Honey Butter and Black Beans.

Next Regina with Leelalicious shows us how easy it is to make sauerkraut, a fermented food with significant health benefits.

Then we are transported to American school lunch cafeterias for a look at how junk foods have taken over. The amazing thing is how kids survive on this horror.
In contrast, school lunches in France feature organic food. Imagine!

Then Bob and Brad, the most popular physical therapists on the web, give us six exercises for seniors to keep moving.

Brothers and sisters, its not too late to plant your Victory Garden. We can not be wholly dependent upon food grown by others. Let’s emulate the Greatest Generation! Dig up your backyard, your front yard and plant. Join a community garden! Create an edible schoolyard. Transform a public park into an edible landscape. Not only is it all possible but in times such as these, it is our duty.

Let us go forward!

Your comments and suggestions are most welcome.
