These organic cacao nibs come from Bali. They are of fine quality. They have a fragrance that will intrigue and a taste that will delight.
According to Matt Monarch a leading teacher in the live food movement,
Raw chocolate is an almost complete foodstuff. It is loaded with more than 300 chemically identifiable compounds, and is higher in anti-oxidants than green tea and wine. It also contains protein, fats, calcium, iron, carotene, thiamine, riboflavin, and magnesium, which is essential for the correct functioning of the brain. Cacao contains caffeine, which means that a raw chocolate drink or desert will give you a similar kick to that of coffee, but in a healthier and raw way.
Chocolate Ecstasy Drink
We’ve adapted this from a basic recipe by raw guru David Favor published by Brother Sage:
6 Tbl Living Tree Cacao Nibs
6 Tbl Living Tree Cashew Nuts
1 Tbl Living Tree Sesame Seeds
1Tbl Living Tree Golden Flax Seeds
1/4 tsp Celtic Sea salt
1/4 Cup Living Tree Agave Nectar
1/4 Cup Tree Australian Forest Honey
6 Cups Spring Water
- Grind the Cacao, Sesame Seeds and Flax seeds in a coffee grinder to a fine powder. Then add them to the blender.
- Blend all ingredients till smooth.
- Leave in glass container overnight to merge flavors and soften Cacao bits.
