Living Tree Community Foods Organic Garbanzo Bean (Chickpea) Flour is ground from whole garbanzo beans. It is high in fiber and can be used as a substitute for wheat flour for gluten free baking. Just the thing for falafel, pancakes, hummus and more. It may also be used to thicken soups and gravies or added to homemade veggie burger patties. High in fiber, protein and iron.
It has a slightly sweet, mellow flavor and works particularly well with flavors such as chocolate and pumpkin.
This Organic Garbanzo Bean Flour is made using the Unifine Milling Process. In this process the grain enters a high-speed rotor and is instantly shattered into fine flour. Air goes through the rotor with the grain and blows the flour out, thus keeping it cool throughout the process, retaining many nutrients. With this process the natural oils in the grain are kept intact and do not get hot like in regular grain milling and stone-ground milling.

A delicious alternative to standard flour. I've used it 3-4 times now and have loved the results.
