Organic is constantly being eroded as factory farms displace the family farmers who started the movement. The organic seal does not protect you against food grown in chemical soup instead of soil. Originally organic agriculture was meant to build the long-term vitality of the soil. But not anymore. There is a tidal wave of hydroponic production of fruits and vegetables. Dave Chapman, a Vermont farmer ,who first sounded the alarm about hydroponics in organic says,”in five years virtually all supermarket certified organic tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers will be hydroponic.” It is happening. Those “organic” berries and those “organic “tomatoes that you find on store shelves- where are they coming from in the midst of winter? They are grown in Mexico in enormous greenhouse complexes.
In actuality more and more so-called “organic” produce is industrial farmed in enormous mono- cropped fields. Due to the lack of biodiversity, these fields are more vulnerable to the rapid spread of pest and disease; therefore, monocrop production routinely depends upon the greater use of organic pesticides throughout the growing season.
Furthermore, monoculture degrades the soil and produces crops that are lacking in nutrients.
CAFO’s, contained animal feeding operations, are another egregious insult. So-called “organic” eggs, milk and meat are produced in huge indoor feeding operations making a mockery of the requirement that animals should have pasture and open space.
We are pleased to present this magnificent video where you are speaking out against the dumbing down of organics. How alive you are in your righteous indignation.
Here you are standing up for bubbling, streaming, pulsating aliveness. You have moved from “sustainability” to “regeneration” . But that is by no means the final resting place; the untrodden road still lies ahead; the word is now “re-creation”. You in your strength, vigor and resilience will yet build victory gardens.
With vibrant wishes to you and family, for good health, prosperity and success.

Quick, easy, refreshing….delicious! I recently harvested an amazing batch of sunflower seed shoots and wanted to feature them in a salad that was a snap to prepare. Obviously, if you don’t have sunflower shoots, you may use other sprouts…but I highly suggest giving them a shot, they are my favorite sprouts of all!!!

How does your level of physical fitness affect your marriage?
(Natural News) Not all couples discuss their physical fitness, especially since it may cause disagreements. However, this can be bad for your relationship because fitness is more than just looking good in a bathing suit or having abs.
If you wait until the other person becomes too unhealthy before you start discussing their fitness, it may be too late.
For example, men may not pay that much attention to their appearance or fitness after marriage, but women tend to be more aware of how much they weigh or what they look like.
According to behavioral scientists, human behavior is “primarily motivated by a drive to survive.” Women will usually partner with a man with the highest probability of passing their genes on to a new generation. However, men tend to choose mates based on physical beauty so physical beauty increases a woman’s odds of securing a mate.
Opioids Are Responsible For 20% Of Millennial Deaths, “Crisis Will Impact US For Generations
(Zero Hedge) The opioid crisis has become a significant public health emergency for many Americans, especially for millennials, so much so that one out of every five deaths among young adults is related to opioids, suggested a new report.
The study is called “The Burden of Opioid-Related Mortality in the United States,” published Friday in JAMA. Researchers from St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, found that all opiate deaths — which accounts for natural opiates, semi-synthetic/ humanmade opioids, and fully synthetic/ humanmade opioids — have increased a mindboggling 292 percent from 2001 through 2016, with one in every 65 deaths related to opioids by 2016. Men represented 70 percent of all opioid-related deaths by 2016, and the number was astronomically higher for millennials (24 and 35 years of age).
According to the study, one out of every five deaths among millennials in the United States is related to opioids. In contrast, opioid-related deaths for the same cohort accounted for 4 percent of all deaths in 2001.
